WebAXSES. One of the very first database engine for the Internet. (1995)

AXSES Inc. of Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada, announces the beta version of WebAXSES, a new approach to putting Databases on the Internet.

The technology is designed to make it easy for non programmers, and non technical people to put sophisticated Database applications onto the Internet.

Ian Clayton, Managing Director, of AXSES Inc. says; "This technology is going to revolutionise the use of databases on the net. Using the WebAXSES engine, non programmers and ordinary hypertext developers will be able to develop and load a whole series of database services without having to write a program".

The Technology is makings its International debut at the BISC96 in Barbados, with the introduction of "MaGIC" a database of International Consultants, hosted by CaribNet in Barbados.

WebAXSES is available for immediate use through CaribNet in Barbados who will be using the technology to create custom database solutions.

Ian Worrell, Managing Director of CaribNet is extremely excited by the potential of this new technology. "We have already received a great deal of interest from some of our larger international clients, and negotiations to use the technology are already underway".

AXSES and CaribNet are planning to attract new business to Barbados by offering a complete management services for offshore companies using the WebAXSES technology and local expertise.
